What is Frequency?

Quick answer
Frequency is how many times, on average, each person saw your ad. Too high and people get bored; too low and they may not remember you.
The formula
Frequency = Impressions ÷ Reach
Example in JOD
30,000 impressions and 10,000 people reached. Frequency = 30,000 ÷ 10,000 = 3.
